2. Distract yourself
Call a friend, have a bath, dance crazily to your favourite song anything to stop you obsessing
3. Be mindful
Get really honest with yourself. Are you actually bored? stressed? anxious? Deal with the real root cause.
4. Break the habit
Cravings can be habitual e.g. always having chocolate after dinner. Therefore, change your routine – directly after dinner go for a walk, brush your teeth or spend quality time with your loved ones.
5. Use a Craving Buster
Have a cup of unsweetened cocoa or allow a couple of squares of 85% dark chocolate melt on your tongue or try supplementing with BCAAs (Branch Chain Amino Acids) all of which have been shown to reduce cravings.
